These Vessels came from my desire to create a cover for a mason jars that protects the jars from breaking or clanging together while sailing on my boat.

As I discovered the different geometries in the patterns of the weavings, I became interested in the intention of use of the vessels based on the meanings in Sacred Geometry

Together with the rich history of knot tying in sailing and the mysticism inherent in sailing lore through the practice of sailing the globe and navigating by the stars, these vessels will carry you on your travels.

Mason Jars are practical, recyclable, and re-useable and can provide an alternative to paper, plastic and styrofoam cups.

Mason Jars and the Masonic traditions from which their name is shared, honor the wisdom of Sacred Geometry as the building block for meaning in architecture and design

I'm Yurters

I'd like to take this moment to thank my yurters who have purchased vessels over the past two years.  You know who you are!  But many of you don't know that a yurt is a boat.
Although my travels, recently, have been more of the psychonaut sort: a psychonaut is a traveler of the mind;  I  still have the need to get out in a physical way.  These vessels are those physical ships sent out into the world.  They are no small part of me.
A friend of mine, Charles Ray, once said his art has traveled to many more places than he could ever hope to go ( this I now realize is no pity)
But, as I intend to plan to cast off myself, this voyage from Panama to Easter island ( Rapa Nui ) and then on to Tahiti. . .  I report that I intend to take my mind and my vessels with me, but no yurt.  Yes, the yurt will remain fixed to the land, a foil of a boat of sorts, where the many destinations, harbors and friends encountered on a voyage are no less than the many destinations, harbors and friends encountered on a voyage.  Trusty yurt, you have seen no less than 88 visitations!
The tide has brought you and although you may have voyaged here by means other than a boat, the tide could always bring you back.  You know the way if you need to get here.  Or, we will just have to wait for the day when the tide brings us back together again!
